The Meditech Consultant will supervise employees which includes release of information, transcription, birth certificates, physician liaison, assembly and analysis , transcription, coding and complete filing sections, makes schedules, payroll, record retrieval per legal request, cover for employees absent from department. The Meditech Informatics Consultant will work with staff in all areas to assure productivity goals are met and/or exceeded. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant will focus on process improvement of all areas of the department. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Informatics Consultant will monitor work flow from initial record pick-up through completion. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant will work with coders to assure all charts are coded and also code outpatient accounts. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant will take care of issues with dictation system and reports. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Informatics Consultant will educate employees regarding HIPPA regulations and provide education for on-going improvement knowledge. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant will help out working on the yearly budget and updating policies and procedures when needed. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Informatics Consultant will be a member of upgrade software team for Meditech Software. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant will order supplies. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant will be responsible for Central file section (closed medical records). In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant will monitor delinquent charts. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant will review Meditech error reports and correct as needed. In this Meditech job, the Meditech Informatics Consultant will test updates to Meditech test environment and after go-live.

* In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant in this Meditech job requires HIM management experience in a hospital environment.
