We currently have Meditech jobs open for Meditech Informatics Consultants to support our clients. The ideal Meditech Consultant should have the following skills and come from hospital or other healthcare in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities:

• In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant acts as primary vendor contact/liaison and will be a champion for the customer.
• In this Meditech job, the Meditech Informatics Consultant works as part of a team that provides 100% of the IT support for a specific group of customers.
• In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant act as technical lead or a participant within projects.
• In this Meditech job, the Meditech Informatics Consultant provides customer relations management to build customer confidence and satisfaction.
• The Meditech Informatics Consultant possess a thorough understanding of the business unit supported to ensure that systems/products are utilized in the most efficient manner. The Meditech Informatics Consultant understands how the needs of the business unit supported align with the strategic needs of the hospital.
• In this Meditech job, the Meditech Informatics Consultant prepares documentation for supported systems to ensure that all levels of support have reference material to best support the customer.
• In this Meditech job, the Meditech Informatics Consultant provides support for peripheral devices dedicated to software applications.
• In this Meditech job, the Meditech Consultant resolves day-to-day issues with customer employees as needed.

For these Meditech jobs, the Meditech Consultant should have 2+ years of experience supporting and implementing healthcare software products. The Meditech Consultant should have 3+ years nursing experience or experience supporting areas such as HIM, Lab, Pharmacy, Surgery, etc. The Meditech Consultant should have above average oral and written communication skills, must be able to multitask. The Meditech Consultant should have some combination of project management training or experience a plus. The Meditech Consultant should have a College degree or equivalent in a related field.
